Hey George and Jenn! Thanks for taking the time to look around, and congrats on the wedding! June 5 was SAVOR down in DC, and that's where we were, enjoying some of the best craft beer in the nation and nibblies, but I'm sure you and your guests had a kick ass time too!

We thought briefly about doing a beer as a favor for our guests, but because we bottle from the bucket (and not the keg), there would be sediment. And quite frankly, not all of our friends and family are truly homebrew-savvy, so with each bottle there would been an instruction sheet needed. That, and simply the process of brewing a spot-on beer, was a little too much of a project, with me sculpting wedding bouquets and Ray mastering the playlists, so I just baked cookies instead.

So cheers to you, congrats on your marriage, and here's to many years of homebrewing to the two of you!

Hi Mel & Ray!

My Fiancee and I are getting married this weekend (June 5th) and brewed a special Wedding Weissbeir for our guests (what better 'thank you' gift can you give your guests than a 1 liter cobalt blue flipper filled with delicious wheat beer and labeled with a color outdoor silhouette of the bride and groom during their engagement-vacation to California??? well... maybe TWO one liter flippers, but k`mon now!!)

I was searching for homebrew and weddings... and I found your blog! Thanks for sharing with us.

Anywho - Jennifer (my Fiancee) and I love to hit up brew pubs - excellent activity and will likely be doing so during out honeymoon!

Best wishes from a fellow homebrewing duo!

Hi Dan and Marvin,

Thanks for all the info about finding Boulder Beer in NJ. We have seen Hazed and Infuzed, Mojo IPA and Sweaty Betty at our local store pretty regularly. Right after the honeymoon I was able to get a 6-pack of Cold Hop (I preferred it on draft, but then again, who doesn’t!) and I snagged a 22 oz bottle of Killer Penguin sealed with wax for Ray (we’re saving that in our liquor cabinet).

I just hope we can track down more of Boulder’s beers in the coming months…perhaps a 6-pack of each :)

Once again, you guys make some really great beers, and we especially appreciated the label art for Planet Porter, Sundance, Single Track and Pass Time. We were seated right next to the paintings you have hung in the pub during our visit, and we spent a fair amount of time talking about which painting we liked the best (we’re art nerds too).

Cheers!

Thanks for stopping by! Glad you enjoyed your visit with us. I hope that you can make it to Boulder in the summertime and enjoy our patio.

If you check our distribution page on our site, you can find our distributors on the Right Coast and hopefully get a retailer of Boulder Beer near your home. Cheers, and thanks again.
